The RMS unit ensures that meat-and-bone meal is treated
at 133°C and a steam pressure of 3-bar for 20 minutes.
The RMS is designed to ensure that the product particles
are treated in accordance with requirements. The Steriliser
outlets are connected to the ventilation system.
Milling Process
In the mill room, the cake is conveyed after cooled to a
hammer mill. After milling the meal is re-sieved and any
larger particles are then remilled.
